AS VALMIERAS STIKLA ŠĶIEDRA supports the general knowledge competition BIO-GO-Higher aimed to improve secondary school pupils’ knowledge of engineering and natural sciences. Year 10 and 11 teams participated in the competition solving chemistry, physics, biology and medicine problems during the academic year.
On 27 April, winners of the competition were celebrated and awarded the first prize, a trip to the AO Research Institute Davos in Switzerland. Other participants of the competitions also received awards. As a Vidzeme company, we supported our regional school team. This time it was Pērkons (Thunder) from Cēsis which received the best overall score in two competitions stages, chemistry and physics. May the team continue to be as quick as lightning and as powerful as thunder!
