Marking the Centenary of the Republic of Latvia, on 17 November at Riga Castle the President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis presented the Cross of Recognition to Member of the Board of AS VALMIERAS STIKLA ŠĶIEDRA and CEO of P-D VALMIERA GLASS USA Corp Andre Schwiontek for his contribution to the development of the processing industry and the national economy.
Accepting the state decoration, A. Schwiontek said, ‘I would like to thank my family and colleagues from VALMIERAS STIKLA ŠĶIEDRA. It is an honour to serve Latvia!’
Andris Oskars Brutāns, AS VALMIERAS STIKLA ŠĶIEDRA Member of the Board, was awarded a commendation from the Cabinet of Ministers for his outstanding professional contribution to Latvia’s industrial development and economic growth.
