AS VALMIERAS STIKLA ŠĶIEDRA has been recognised by the Employers’ Confederation of Latvia as the best internship company in the Vidzeme region in 2022. The company has been recognised several times for its investment in upgrading professional education and outstanding cooperation with educational institutions, implementing training internships in Vidzeme.
In 2022, AS VALMIERAS STIKLA ŠĶIEDRA hosted 36 interns from various educational institutions, providing them with knowledge and practical experience. These young people acknowledge that experience obtained in the work environment provides them with new opportunities and helps them to hone their professional skills, as well as enabling them to acquire valuable international experience with an export-oriented, high-tech manufacturing company. It should be noted that in Latvia the company is one of the pioneers of learning experience rooted in the work environment.
