On 6th of January, 2011 - the Association of Latvian Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry and Latvian Investment and Development agency signed the contract No.L‑APA-10-0025 about the implementation the project „Raising the qualification of employees working in chemical and with chemical related sectors in Latvia, accordingly raising their competitiveness in the labor market and promoting businessmen competitiveness" (project No. APA/1.3.1.1.1/10/02/009).
The project is realized by the Association of Latvian Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry in collaboration with more than 40 chemical and with chemical related companies, including JSC Valmieras stikla šķiedra.
The project will be implemented till 26th of July, 2013, and different trainings will be organized in the areas of Industrial engineering and management, computing, engineering and technology, production and processing, safety and protection, language programs.
The project is realized within the EU Structural Funds program "Support for employees training to promote competitiveness of businesses - support for organized training partnerships".
