The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of Republic of Latvia, SIA Environment Investment Fund and JSC Valmieras stikla šķiedra on 31.10.2013. signed an agreement on the implementation of the project “Combined solutions for reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions of the manufacturing unit located at Cempu iela 13, Valmiera, LV-4201” (identification No. KPFI-15.2/226).
The planned results of the project:
- the emissions of the CO2 reduced at least by 179029.31 kg/per year;
- the reduction of CO2 compared to (Climate KPFI financing of the project at a ratio of 2.14 kg CO2 per each financed Lat (2.14 kg CO2/1.00Ls).
The project has been financially backed by the EU Financial Instruments for climate change mitigation and adaptation (KPFI).

- Project eligible costs: LVL 185845.26
- Co-financing intensity: 45%

The planned results of the project:
- the emissions of the CO2 reduced at least by 398041.54 kg/per year;
- the reduction of CO2 compared to (Climate KPFI financing of the project at a ratio of 1.882 kg CO2 per each financed Lat (1.882 kg CO2/1.00Ls).
The project has been financially backed by the EU Financial Instruments for climate change mitigation and adaptation (KPFI).
