PRODUCTION OPERATOR

IN GENERAL:

  • Operators will tend to and operate glass melting furnace (fiber forming, fiber winding) or fiber twisting machinery to produce required products as scheduled by the production plan;
  • Regular attendance and maintaining a good attendance record is an essential function of the job;
  • Possibility to grow and to seek out additional roles and responsibilities within your or other departments;
  • Suitable for entry level too: no big experience required;
  • Good work ethic and attitude required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up the working place and start-up of working flow and machineries;
  • Work in a safe manner and follow all safety policies and procedures. This includes ensuring co-workers are adhering to safety protocol;
  • Participate in on-the-job training and transfer skills learned into daily work - must be able to learn operator functions;
  • Must work with others on shift to coordinate operations;
  • Ensure quality procedures for production;
  • Maintain general housekeeping of working area and plant;
  • Move materials in and out of the line as needed including: packaging materials, raw materials and finished product;
  • Job Type: 12 hours (swing shifts) working time 7AM-7PM and 7PM-7AM.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED;
  • Desire to learn skills on the job in a fast paced environment;
  • Dependability and punctuality;
  • Must possess physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time;
  • Ability to work in teams;

PACKAGING SUPERVISOR

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and implement efficient packaging workflows;
  • Oversee packaging across multiple product categories and varying packaging structures;
  • Work with Quality departments to investigate quality complaints and implement corrective actions;
  • Communication with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Purchase, Quality;
  • Implement packaging guidelines, including technical guides and standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED from accredited institution;
  • Experience in materials chain or similar job at least 2 years;
  • Ability to manage multiple items simultaneously;
  • Ability to identify critical issues and formulate action plans;
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to details;
  • Ability to independently make day-to-day decisions in accordance with overall strategy;
  • Ability to manage and motivate direct reports;
  • Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred.

QUALITY TECHNICIAN

IN GENERAL:

  • Control the conformity of products to the defined requirements;
  • Carry out thorough glass fibre yarn quality surveillance at the production unit in a timely manner;
  • In the cases of non-conformities, immediately inform the manager of the relevant production department and the Quality Inspector.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up the working place and start-up of working flow and machineries;
  • Coordinate timely receipt of samples from production departments;
  • Maintain an organized work space, and prepare samples and measuring instruments in a timely manner;
  • Accurately perform checks and analyses of product samples in a timely manner;
  • Ensure that the quality requirements are met and observed in accordance with standards;
  • Provide the non-woven material checks according to control plan;
  • Record the data on twist and non-conformities detected in the appropriate database;
  • During each shift, ensure that the proper processes and methodologies are observed;
  • Perform fluff and broken filament testing with Fraytec and McCoy equipment;
  • Determine the stiffness of spun yarn with the Hang Test;
  • When necessary, arrange the quality control of individual product ranges, involving production operators and Quality Inspector;
  • Job Type: 12 hours (swing shifts) working time 7AM-7PM and 7PM-7AM.

SALES/ CUSTOMER SERVICE

IN GENERAL:

  • Be a part of Sales team in a dynamic, fast growing company;
  • Provide administrative support in day to day sales business activities;
  • Collaborate with Production, Production planning and Warehouse to organize product shipments;
  • Accurately ensure all delivery/ shipping documents.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately setting up new accounts profiles, contracts, etc.;
  • Accurately inputting orders;
  • Maintain and organize lead databases, update databases;
  • Review and monitor various documents such as contracts, shipping documents;
  • Answer client questions in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner by phone or E-mail;
  • Assist and resolve with the customer complains;
  • Assist customers and follow up payment terms in accordance with established guidelines;
  • Organize the shipping of product samples by entering request;
  • Prepare reports, presentations and similar information.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma in Business, Management or similar;
  • Experience in Office administration or Industrial sales at least 3 years;
  • Experience with a large amount of documentation;
  • Perfect computer skills (SAP, MS Office) (Internal Trainings SAP);
  • Very good communication and presentation skills (verbal and written);
  • Friendly, customer-oriented personality;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Resolution, result driven person;
